- Exhibited at Fiera Milano RHO, Salone Satellite 2012

Materials: Birch and ash wood, laminated

Inspired by traditional Swedish fresh wood basket weaving Webster is a modernization and adaptation of the technique to modern industry. Fresh wood weaving locks the shape of the item being weaved when the wood dries and shrinks. Webster has already hardened shapes that interlocks with one another. The chair is built up by four different shapes, cross laminated in large moulds. The sheets are then sliced into the segments needed for the chair and put together with tape in the ends.
